With the precision of Sunnens Line hone machine, we can precisely hone the main housing bores
to an specific size with no taper all the way down! Most factory blocks we check are out of spec and
require line honing. We remove only a minimal amount of metarial so as to not drasticly change the
cam to crank centerline. Housing bore size is critical for proper bearing craush and clearance! We
can also install main cap girdles and line hone with them installed, which is a must!
